NAZAR ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Local Privacy Firewall browser extension ("the Extension") collects, uses, and safeguards your information.

2. Data Collection and Usage

The Extension operates strictly locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external servers.

• Screenshots (captureVisibleTab): Used dynamically when a scan is triggered to perform OCR and visual masking. All image processing (including face detection) happens locally within your browser. Screenshots are never uploaded over the internet.
• DOM Extraction: Used to scan active tabs for sensitive input fields (like passwords, emails, etc.) for masking purposes. This data remains explicitly local and is discarded after processing.

3. Third-party Services

The Extension uses bundled, offline ML models (like Tesseract.js) to process data on-device. There are no remote API calls for model inference.

4. Your Rights

Because no data leaves your device, you have complete control over your information. Simply uninstalling the Extension removes all capabilities and any cached on-device metadata.
